ARCHITECT

Megan West (like the direction), has moved to Boise to join the S|U team and expand her architectural experience by working in a small, creative team with a wide breadth of project types, clients, and locations. During her education, she worked at a Sacramento firm focused on various commercial and retail projects. Recently, she transitioned from a design team functioning as owner’s representative working alongside a multidisciplinary team consisting of a facilities group, construction managers, electricians, and HVAC technicians. There she worked on everything from tenant improvement space planning, engineering labs, a pedestrian bridge, health clinic, and gym.

With a passion for the built world, sustainability, and functional design, Megan enjoys looking for efficient, long-lasting solutions. Megan is our newest licensed design professional having received her architectural license in June 2022.

Having lived all over the world, from California to Germany, South Korea and Washington, she is excited to explore Idaho with her family. So far, she has been enjoying all Boise has to offer, from trips to the zoo, family bike rides along the Greenbelt, to picnics in all the various parks. When she’s not studying or hanging out with her family, Megan is often knitting or reading a good book.
