CHARLES KARAS

Intern Architect

Charles Karas (KEHR – EHS), a little far from home, Charles relocated to Boise for his first job in the field all the way from Ohio, where he studied Architecture at Kent State University. The Michigan Native loves extreme cold and snow. There, he mastered his craft of giving directions by locating random spots on his hands which he claims is “a Michigan thing.” During his time in the Buckeye State he met his girlfriend and decided to begin his professional career in Boise after a visit to her hometown.

Charles is eager on getting his feet wet and see projects through from conception to completion. He hopes he’ll get to see the advances in construction that he studied while at KSU like 3D-printed concrete while introducing it to our Team. Eager to learn, Charles has started his preparation for his A.R.E and licensure.

Wood working and fixing the latest problem with his truck are how he usually spends his weekends. On a rare day when he gets to relax, he enjoys nature hikes, long runs, or lets out his inner Bob Ross by painting a peaceful nature scene.
