IDAHO STATE UNIVERSITY
Built with the support of hundreds of private donors, primarily Thelma E. Stephens, the 123,000 square-foot Stevens Performing Arts Center offers world-class performances at one spectacular location. Music, dance, theatre and lectures bring the communities of southeastern Idaho and Idaho State University together at this facility that houses a 1,200-seat Concert Hall, a 450-seat Thrust Theatre and 200-seat experimental Black Box Theatre. With a Costume Design Studio and Set Design Shop, as well as Classrooms and Meeting Spaces, the Center offers provides students with an opportunity to learn while experiencing a professional-level performing arts education.
The $34 million Stephens Performing Arts Center opened in October 2004.
